Tomas Egger M. Duque Estrada is a film director with 25 years experience in computer graphics, special effects, and motion graphics. A graduate in Industrial Design from FAAP, he began his career at the age of 17 as an assistant in the studio of Cao Hamburger.

He had the chance to learn with the masters, Rudi and Wenzel Böhm, and he assumed the direction of Dinamo Films recent motion graphic department between 1997 and 1999. 

He was responsible for assembling in the post-production department of AD Studio, where he consolidated his career as a film director. There, he supervised the special effects team between 2000 and 2011, creating memorable commercials and music videos, which received awards at the MTV Brazil Music Ceremony. He won Best Art Direction in 2005 with the clip “Abnormal” by Pato Fu.

He has been a member of the VES (Visual Effects Society) in Los Angeles since 2007. In January 2010, he became the only Brazilian owner of an international 3D software called EIAS (Electric Image Animation System), which is used in practically all his commercials and music videos today. This software is used worldwide in films, TV series, and other various forms of media.
